A Good Tripod?
« on: 28 November 2011, 21:35 »
Hi there, I'm looking to get my dad a simple tripod for his camera.

We're not serious photographer's, it's mainly just for steady camera work for holiday snaps and videos.

Ideally I'd like a lightweight, durable and sufficiently strong tripod that won't fall over or break when we use it. I'd also like to not spend too much.

Any advice, tips and experiences would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm looking at this at the moment, small, lightweight and made by Manfrotto who make very good tripods and only £32:
