Hello everyone,
I own a 2006 MK5 GTI, and on the last scan that I did (I used Carly for VAG), I got the following codes: 001089, P1297 (connect charger throttle valve), P2188 (bank 1, fuel metering system too rich at idle).
I did some research and didn't find much. For the 001089 I know it's the EVAP problem, I replaced the N80 valve and the code showed up again after about 400km. The other 2 codes I noticed that they appear almost at the same time, maybe 50km apart.
To mention is the fact that I replaced my OEM diverter valve (which failed) to the upgraded piston rev. D.
Has anyone had these codes before? Did you guys find a way to fix them?
Thanks!
