I don't understand why you'd want to turn AC off?

Climate control is a wonderful thing, apart from anything else, it keeps the windows clear most of the time.

purely because i felt running the AC used more fuel - perhaps i am wrong ?

Around 10% more IME. Anywhere between 3 to 5mpg overall.

Swapped my kerbed wheel for non kerbed on

Don't suppose you could post some pictures with the gloss black caps against the red could you? I'd really want cf but as cost prohibitive these are an option but can't decide. I've had a bit of a checkered past with mirror caps so need convincing to get my wallet out again.... Thanks

Been a busy week in the Wigit house

The wife's R was three so treated it to a full detail and redcoat and omg it pops now, also had a brake fluid change, MOT and back in next week to try and cure a rattle around drivers door or footwell, they cured the one due to the fake sound thingy

Also sorted out my replacement for the rental Golf R Estate which is going to be a black UP GTI having sorted a deal and got the place in the queue sorted before 2nd Feb

Cheers, especially for doing so in such cr@ppy weather They look great! I've also seen some wrapped in carbon fibre but with a difference, the cf has been woven with a red fibre giving a great effect, just not sure if they would clash on a red car and they are double the cost of the black ones. Hmmmm

I think it's well worth doing, the white standard lights just don't fit in right but the red really pulls the lighting together
