We you went for ditch finders in the end
New lower budget tyres are a lot safer than old worn out ones and i don't think this jetta is going to be testing the limits of adhesion any time soon, it's a cruiser.

Yep exactly I went for the 185 45 nankangs as the bloke I got the wheels from had already ordered the and they had been shipped plus I drive this like an old man as its so clean I cruise in it.
I rolled the arches today and here is a little taster of what it's going to look like.
I put the 2 rims I have tyres on on one side.

Ok I have now rolled the rear arches. Didn't bother with the fronts as rhetoric don't seem be be to close to the arch lip.
Cades who I got the wheels from are fitting the last 2 tyres tomorrow and swapping the rear wheel bolts for shorter ones.
Also just bpught some black caliper pair to tidy up the calipers and rear drums as you can see them through the new rims.
Bought some new red dice dust caps
Bought some black fly eye for the indicators
And also couldn't help buying a long bonnet tip eyebrow. Wich I may do black or red. Not sure yet. May not even keep it but just wanted to see if it worked.
