Oh and work on Thursday sorted out the spilt charging issue - there was a wire broken and massively corroded down the back of the consumer unit - this semi-useless thing:



Which only outputs 120V (as it's US-spec) but it needed to be sorted as all of the lights etc run through it from the leisure battery.

Need a new gas control valve for the blown-air heating as the terminals have snapped off and here's hoping the roof repairs go OK this week!

Re-foamed bed is dead comfy.  Fridge is exceptionally good - very cold milk on Sunday morning! Think the water pump might need priming at the moment, either that or swapping out.

Leisure battery turned up to replace the dead one on Thursday, but was leaking as soon as it was tilted - looks like it was damaged in transit, so the G3 battery did sterling service overnight instead

it has a power converter    wtf    that must have been one hell of an expensive option if it's original,  that or it's got a nigh on useless output power and drains the battery in about 30 seconds

The sort of Septic C*nt who also figured it only needed the two rear-most lights wired to the leisure battery (not the main fluo-tube over the cooker) and figured it'd be OK to just Scotchlock them in to another camper wiring circuit.
