Title: Quick one - Just the ignition on or engine running too?
Post by: NotMyName on 30 December 2012, 10:51
I read a how to on VAGCOM which said you just need the ignition on - dash lights on & all that.

Watched a video on YouTube last night on how to use it which said you need the engine actually running to use VAGCOM.

All we'll be doing is checking the stored faults on a MK4 Golf TDI.

Which is correct? Ignition on or engine running?

Doesn't matter, either way the ignition is on.

Ignition only, save fuel for driving :D
