STOLEN
« on: 28 February 2009, 10:04 »
Had the house broken into last night, and the keys to my car were taken along with loads of other stuff, so if you see a mk 5 golf GTI 3 door in steel grey with the reg T2 LBB, then either let me know or contact the police.
Thanks

Not good!  Was the car in the driveway or garaged?

I'm going to start sleeping with the car keys under the pillow!!

As others have commented, gutted for you, and hope no personal trauma has been suffered.

But what general neck of the woods are you based?  I know that some cars can be stolen at one end of the country and used for a 'job' at the opposite end - but there are probably a few dimwits who still might try using it in your local area.

Don't keep your keys under your pillow or, like others have experienced, you're likely to get someone enter your bedroom and hold you/family at gunpoint and ask for the keys. Car are replaceable, families aren't.
