Title: Drivers door not opening with central locking intermittant

Hi Guy's hope someone can help.

I have a 2006 GTI. When I lock the doors with the fob it all works fine. When I go to open the doors/boot they all open except the drivers, if I lock it again and press the button a second time (think this may be deadlock) and then go to open it, it works fine. The key also opens the door fine if the remote won't.

It's only just started to do this, can these things get out of sync and need resetting? or is it likely to be something bigger?

I have the same issue with my GTI my 6. I think it’s the door latch that needs replacing.
