New car wax?
« on: 14 September 2018, 02:31 »
Been using Meguiars - Ultimate Wax for the last couple of years and been happy with it, being easy to apply and buff and it doesn't mark trims. Thinking of a change but don't know where to start.
Any recommendations? Must be easy to apply and buff

If you’re looking for a good value easy on, easy off wax, try Collinite 845 Insulator Wax. It’s a liquid, so applying it is a doddle! No glamorous packaging and the wax doesn’t have a fancy smell, but on properly prepared paintwork and using a wax-friendly shampoo, it’s given me around 6 months protection.

It gets five stars (out of five) on Clean Your Car website by those who’ve bought it too.

I quite like Dodo Juice Supernatural hybrid nano at the mo, very easy to use and leave a beautiful finish. Not 100% a wax, more a wax/sealant combo.... what ever that is!

The dodo juice supernatural hybrid is indeed very good, as is the hybrid nano, although it needs a little more care during application. I tend towards auto finesse, especially illusion. The finish is fantastic, but it's not very durable compared to the supernatual waxes.
