itl be fine to put on mate,just dont put any polish or t cut etc on it for a week.rain wont bother it

ok you sure yeah,   im so keen to fit them youve tempted me,      someone said that they think that it will all just peel off cos i didnt rub down the paint before i laquered it,   has this ever appened to you???

no,but i aint no proffesional,just goin on past experience.they will b ok to put on thou,
did most of the prep n primer work on my mr2 n my mate sprayed it n i took it home the same day,he just warned me not to wash it with soap or wax it for a week,n that looked sweet as  :cool:

maybe you didnt need the 2nd can of laquer after all  :grin: I beleive laquer goes cloudy when applied but dries shiny (similar to light tint spray). good work tho fella, cant wait to see the finished product, you inspired me to get mine done now  :smiley:

looks well shiny....??......was you not tempted to do the plastic trim glossy black...???...i'm thinking of doing my trim gloss black, sick of using back to black after every wash  :grin:

i think glossy black trim would look  :sick:, dont do it, lol

i like the de arched with gti bumpers look,   i dnt think red mk3's look as good with fully colour coded bumpers

anyone thinking of filing and respraying there bumpers do it, trust me youll be pleased when its over,

I'm planning on completely smoothing a front bumper and doing what you've done.. your results do look damn cool! have you compared the bumper to the car itself yet paint wise? i take it you'd need to t-cut it or something to match the colours perfectly?
