It's been a long time since I last up catered this!
Well a week after having the coilovers fitted I broke my track cherry at the LVSR Blyton track day. Unfortunaly I could only attended the morning due to my daughters sports day being re arranged. I had a great time and was pleased the car and mods all worked so well. To points needed addressing though. One was that I need to fit the oil cooler that's been sat in a box in my house for over a year! The other is that I need to get a spare set of wheels with some track tyres.
Hers a few photos of the track day.

I'll defiantly be doing some more track days and I keep looking at roll cages...

Next up a stack oil temp gauge to go with the boost gauge and Nomad A pillar gauge holder. Plus 10mm spacers.

A member on SCN had a genuine Seat cup championship carbon fibre splitter (that has some damage!) that he kindly let me have (thanks DK!).

Then a trip to inters. This was the first car show I'd been to since the late 90's. I had a great time with the VAG tuning and COV gang. It was great to meet up with people I'd meet over the Internet. I also got a passenger ride in Prawns Awsome A3 track car!

Had a great weekend and I'll be at Action!

I've also got a set of second hand TT comps with pirelli p-zero system track tyres.

There's plenty of clearance for the Brembo's and 330mm discs.

Compared tithe TDs

That bring things pretty much up to date.
On my boost gauge I've only been getting -10 psi vacuum at idel and it should be -20. So suspecting a split in the PCV crap under the inlet manifold. I decided it was time to fit the catch tank, collection of forge hoses and painted rocker cover and charge pipe. Also I'm relocating the battery to the boot.
That'll be a boost leak then!

The PCV pipe work and its replacement.

As you can see the battery needed to be moved.

Bracket made to hold the catch tank and electric distribution block. With the aid of CAD!

Parts for battery relocation.

Hopefully I'll get it all finished over the bank holiday weekend. Also I'm booked in for a stage 2 custom map at R-Tech which should be a big improvement over the standard map I'm still running!!!

My new air filter arrived today with help from Mr Sealey. Thanks again sir!
It's a little bigger than the S2000 filter it will replace.

I just need to shoe horn it into the engine bay. Hopefully everything should be finished up tomorrow and I can drive my car for the first time for nearly three weeks. Need a blast!!!

Well it's sad to say but my time with this car has come to an end

I've decided to brake the car and sell the parts off. It's been a lot of fun but with constant issues and me deciding to go in a different direction it's the only way to make some of my money back.
