Uh huh.

Cos Stealth's rolling road has no reputation for over-reading at all.

Take it back when the weather's different - it'll return a different output figure.

Then it'll run lean at some point and spit its dummy.

I wouldnt be surprised at 170 on kjet 2.0 abf with exhaust cam n wur done. If you can get 150bhp on a 1.8 with just a wur mod then 170bhp is more than achieveable on his.

Kjet is more than up to it if you can tune it properly

146lbs at 5608rpm, i have got a graph but not taken a  pic yet.
I could tell once the new 2.0 engine was in the car it felt quicker than the old 1.8 just more grunt everywhere. Gained about 9 BHP and 3lbs of torque at the top end after wur mod which is noticable on the road. Compared to the tired 1.8 16v engine the car feels a lot quicker now. I won't be taking it any further as its only a bit of fun at my local track Lydden hill. I'm not into VW's i only bought it 3 yrs ago as it was getting expensive tracking my M3 & 3dr Cossie at the time, i have had much more fun in the golf on track and its been so cheap to build/maintain, great fun little cars !

I've been to Lydden a few times to watch the Rallycross but not considered a track day there.  It isn't that far from me (am in Essex).   I hope they sweep all the muck & gravel off that the rally cars drop on the circuit :)

The surface at Lydden is quite poor compared to other tracks, track tyres get hammered very quickly down there where as at Brands not nearly so much wear on the tyres.

Graphs if you can read them as very small print ! Torque seems quite low. before & after tune/wur mod.

Id be inclined to say the fly figures are incorrect. Fwd car will only lose 15% max in transmission drag

torque figures are about right, 145-150lbft is correct for 2.0.
