I doubt I'll get a pcp deal with next to nothing depost and for 350 a month, so leasing maybe the only option. Will see tho, if they can do a good discount 15% or something, it may be doable.

An increase from 10% to 15% discount will take an extra £1488.55 off the price which works out at a few pence short of £40 per month off the monthly cost. So at your spec your PCP will be £396 a month with zero deposit. The only way you will get near £350 on a PCP is by putting in a deposit.

Cheapest lease currently out there is 6+24 at £290 a month. So a £1740 upfront payment.

So I've now got a few offers from car wow, one being 1000 down then 359pm on pcp over 4 years. That's 15% discount, which is more than the 10 I was offered at yesterday's dealer who was addimant that was unheard of... Going to have another test drive and see what they say when I'm actually in the dealership. Will see what they can do re throwing in servicing.

Out of the two, I'd go Red. The car I drove when I was testing 19's without DCC was red and on Brescias, it looked great, here it is...

From the 1st of Feb deposit contribution on all Golfs (excluding the GTE) have an extra £500 on top of the usual £1500. The £2000 offer ends tomorrow (the 17th).

They won’t give you another £500 off though. This hasn’t changed DTD discounts.

The extra £500 is split £250 from VW finance and £250 from retailer and only based on cars delivered by end of March.

So if it’s a factory order or anything that won’t arrrive before the end of March you will only get the standard £1500 DC
