hi all, just joined the group.
I have a 04 mk 5 golf that I brought around 6 months ago. all was working fine until recently when for some reason the heating and aircon have stopped. the display and dials are still lighting up and if you hit the recirculation button it sometimes lights up for a few seconds then cuts out. I have checked the fuses on the driver side door and have found a wire on the fuse for the heater fan. if I take the fuse out the car cuts out and wont start. Any ideas how I can fix the heater issue.
