my friends astra coupe had cruise control, but my old astra couldnt have it because i had a cable throttle, is this the case with golf's too?

depends which GTI you've got as some of the petrols ones are drive by wire, and can have cruise easily retro fitted

w- 2000. its got the throttle cable which comes to the front by the dip stick if that helps?
