Custom door pods!

hey every1, ive finally finished my door pods, wanted to cover them with some leather look material but couldnt wait so just ended up spraying them matt black. i will still cover them when i do get the material thats why there not perfectly smooth  :undecided:. let me knw what you guys think  :smiley:

they sound awesome m8, got Alpine SPR-17LS components, Type-R badbwois! all i need now is a sub (when the cash flow is abit better  :sad:), get rid of the 6x9's and get ones to put in the shelf mounts and amp front and back speakers!  :smiley:

So i guess you hacked up the original door pod,  used an mdf frame but what is the filler you have used on it?   Any chance of a quick step by step?

I quite fancy having a crack at some of these as yours are looking good!

^^ Thats a pretty good general tutorial on making door pods, there was a really good one specifically for mk2's somewhere but I cant remember where, probablky hidden amongst my million or so bookmarks!
