New whees & brakes

Hello,
First time on the forum, and first time making any real changes to my car beyond basic replacement stuff like rotors etc.
I'm thinking to stick some new wheels on it - going to keep the originals but don't particularly like them personally. Am thinking of something plain / black finish, sort of like these (though any cheaper suggestions welcome):
https://www.wheelbasealloys.com/alloy-wheels/dotz/kendo-dark/black/16-inch/volkswagen/golf-gti/mk3
I started thinking about the brakes though and while it's completely unnecessary it would be cool to have something like this on the front:
https://www.micksgarage.com/d/brake-calipers/porsche/porsche-911/911-1993-to-1997/3-6-turbo-gt2-430-3600/products/2386509-160-4673/remy-front-brake-caliper
I guess that's the sort of thing Porsche where putting on their 911s around the same time vw made my car.. I'm not sure how much i need to replace though - presumably the calipers, brake hose.. if anyone could advise or point me towards an overview of the brake system that would be helpful.
Thanks,
Alex
