Hi i have some old bird poo stuck on my bonnet it seems to have eaten into the paint used a clay bar plus some magnors wax but cant shift this any ideas thanks

hmm did you try to remove it with some quik detailer before using the clay bar??

soak it with some QD to see if that loosens it

hi its just like a stain but into the paint, in 3 areas looks like it has been here along time rest of car looks good but this is annoying thanks for any help/ ideas.

looks like it may have eaten into your paint, you may be able to remove it by using an aggressive polish, machine polishing would be ideal

I had the same problem, managed to get it off by machine polishing it with Megs #83 and my Porter Cable 7424 and a 4" spot pad. Then dropped to #80 and it was invisible! Horrible stuff, I now keep a microfibre cloth and some Megs QD in the glovebox just in case.
