overfeuling
« on: 18 May 2018, 20:24 »
Hi folks
Used to be a member here years ago , however I moved onto other motors and lost touch .
Ive just brought a 2001 1.8t aum , had a few mods, 220 bhp apparently , ko3s remap ect the usual .
Ive noticed it smells like its overfueling after a few miles, When i had it , i scanned it and it had a couple of temp sensor codes amongst other things , not replaced any sensors yet but could a temp sensor cause overfueling ?
Sorry to ask questions on my first post , just the car has been neglected by the previous owner and im concerned its had a sh!tty map ect

Replace the temp sensor with a genuine one from tps or the dealer not a cheap eBay or eurocarparts one
