Title: Differential temperature - air vent and cabin
Post by: martin998877 on 30 September 2019, 20:29
I like to have the cabin warm, but cooler air to my face.  Older BMW has a clever temperature knob for the air vents, which was great. On the Golf, using the air vent on the driver's side is ok, but usually when the air is warm to the window and feet, it is also too warm to the face.

I turn the passenger vent on and the other three off, and angle the passenger vent towards my face. I set the driver temp to about 22C (very warm), and the passenger temp to about 19 C, which lets cool air come out of the passenger vent onto my face.

Maybe it's just me that likes that scenario, but I hope someone finds it a useful idea.
