A good diagnostics session should help you pin point the issue.

I have Vag Com, but am a novice with the software, dont suppose you could tell me what I need to do?

Start with logging block 115, from 1200rpm to 4500rpm in 4th gear, post the results up or email them to me and I will take a look for you.

exact same is happening at times with my gti , it must be an aum thing ! the car seems fine though it got me 3 points last week  :evil:
