not sure how to set one up or if there is already one set up, but on one of my old forums there was a link where you could go and put a pin on the map which then would pop up members details like what mk golf they drive and roughly where they are from when they hover the mouse over it...
i suppose it would be a good tool for getting to know people who share the same interests ect.
Give this a go please... it's simple and if you like it we can stick in a sticky as I think this is a great idea... Please follow these instructions carefully.
Here's the Link Golf GTI Forum Members Map (http://www.zeemaps.com/map?group=220682)
I have added mine, it's a pic of my car in the Midlands, if you hover over it, it will tell you it's me!
To add yourself:
Zoom in to your region, not your exact address, just a rough area for security reasons,
Click on the option at the top left of the map Additions
Then click on Add Marker - Simple
In the window that pops up, enter your forum user name in the Entry Name field
now click on Click on a map location
Click where you want your marker to be placed, a red star will appear as a preview.
In the pop up window, click select, job done!
Any problems, gimme a shout.

Would also be an awesome tool for thieves to target specific cars.

You would only have to put an area rather than you're home address.
