Just a heads up for anyone requiring new VW panels etc:

http://www.carz2.co.uk/volkswagen-c-540.html?osCsid=dd2b3e942fc6e729f138a0af37bcdd5b

I have no affiliation with these guys nor have i used them before but working for a small motor factors we supply the same range of pattern panels/bumpers/grilles etc (LMC/hadrian) so we know they are of reasonable quality and most parts seem well priced. These are not OE panels

i.e. mk2 golf quad lamp gti grill (with red stripe) £14.58 +vat and delivery

I don't think a semi will give the same results

Anyone else confirm the quality of these parts. I need a new wing, was looking at getting one second hand, but I can also get one sprayed for £40

no complaints from out customers (remember im nothing to do with these guys, but we source the SAME panels) but my mk2 grill, although cheap, may not be upto the concourse boys' standards. the only real issues were having to trim off some of the molding marks and the red stripe paint looks a touch thin.

merrrrr, pattern parts never quite fit right, the panel gaps are never quite as they should be and they'll rust quicker

I'd go for a decent used genuine panel every time
1983 mk1, 2.0, TSR pack C head, Eaton M45 - work in progress
1990 mk2 GTD, boost, fuel, soot
16v GTi mk3; chilli red, 16" Audi Speedlines, coilies
1934 Ford Dragster, 200mph in 6 seconds.
