Looks amazing p9ul, the 7 looks so mean in dbp.

KyleB, not too sure on dust (or dirt) yet, will see how it looks end of this week. Hoping the sealent stops a fair bit from sitting on the paint.

Cheers ffrank, sorely tempted by some darker tints too. What originally sold me on the car was following a black gtd which had some dark tints, looked quite minimal with the car being almost all black with a dash of red from the rear clusters and it made the silver VW badge stand out too.

Being a designer, I'm a sucker for minimal lol...

Do you mind me asking how much that cost? Have you got any pics of the rear?

It cost me £105.00. I am very tempted to get the drivers and passenger doors done also, however, you are only allowed up to a 30% on these, as 70% of light must be allowed through. I do have one but its not the best, il try upload it for you to see

Bare in mind that you can't legally have ANY aftermarket tints forward of the B pillar (IE the front windows) even if that tint is below the legal limit.

I have googled loads in to tints. https://uk.answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081217120801AAyO4Dh

Seen a few cars with it done, look at Audi A3 Black Editions, the front windows are dark as hell

Truth is you may not be able to get front tints.  I believe that have to let 75% light through, but normally the windows are tinted from the factory to this limit.
7R 5 door.  Limestone Grey.  19" Pretoria's, Leather, DCC, Winter pack, keyless entry, rear camera.

When I was having the rears tinted the lad was in the process of tinting a Range Rover Sport, drivers side and passenger and advised me this was illegal yet the owner told him he gave him his permission to do so. Yet when you google this, there is no clear answer.

The law states Vehicles first used on 1 April 1985 or later state the front windscreen must let at least 75% of light through and the front side windows must let at least 70% of light through. So surely I can tint passenger and drivers windows according to the law
