ok here my problem not sure what it is but my steering on my car not right cab mk 1 it still steers but it i seem to be turning it rnd once b4 it moves on the left fine turning right but not left have not been using it but just wondering what it could be as its getting towed home from uni this week and wondering hw much it will cost to fix cheers for all your help jeff

Check the usual, ball joints, track rod ends and wishbone bushes. Have someone rock the steering while you look at the joints and see if you can see any play, pay close attention to the rack to body mountings.

found out what was wrong with the car there seems to be a centre joint which holds the steering rack well thats detached from the car and will need welding back not a happy bunny looking at 200 quid as exhaust has to be removed and maybe some parts of the engine hoping it wont need to be tho!
