My standard GTI has recently started telling me it wants a service. I purchased the car in April this year and the dealer gave it an oil change service as part of the deal. Shortly after this it went back to the dealership to fix the noisy idle issue where it had the water pump, timing chain + belt and associated tensioners replaced as part of this it also received another oil change service.
From the details below it appears below the previous owner had it on the long life schedule regime which I’m not a fan of I much prefer time and distance.
My question is now the car is just shy of 50k what service should I look at booking in for?
I assume it will need an interval service including, spark plugs, air/fuel/pollen filters as it looks like its still on the original items and if its having these should I look to tag on an oil change service so its all back in sync ?
