Tell me about shocks for trackdays
« on: 30 July 2009, 14:26 »
The Golf failed it's MOT on a leaking front shock and a rear caliper that is dead. Currently running Koni Top Adjustables but these are an eye watering £270 for a pair delivered. I can't really afford them and wondered what cheaper alternatives there are.

I love the way it handles on the Koni's and TBH I'm hesitant to replace them with anything else but if there are cheaper alternatives that are just about as good I'm all ears!

Try contacting koni uk and see if they can repair it, or may offer you a cheaper replacement price, their uk distributor is

I managed to sort a full set of 18 month old MKIII fit ones for £185 with postage so I'm sorted thankfully.
