Don't do it.
I have had three total losses (about 35k worth
) one my fault, one someone elses and one car stolen and they are very thorough with their checking.
The last one I had a three way phone conversation between myself, Insurers and DVLA where they checked if my declared points matched what DVLA had on their database.
Basically if these don't match you are in all sorts of bother.
I know its tempting but if you have any sort of claim - even not your fault they will find it.
