Just joined the forum
Just got my second Golf, p/ex-ing a mk4 for a mk5. Nice! really pleased generally.
However, I noticed early on the lack of reversing light. Bulb and holder fine, having swapped from the fog light the other side. Took to a local garage, said they couldn't find it on diagnostics. Would work initially, before blowing a fuse. Possibly an ECU issue, telling me it may be affecting the climate control too. No cc, but air con isn't working.
Can this be sorted out without involving VW main dealer?
Also
there is a constant draught in the front footwells. Anyone had these issues, and know how to overcome them ?
