Right, so after drving a mk2 8V GTI (see here:
http://www.golfgtiforum.co.uk/index.php?topic=115830.msg1014322#msg1014322) since May 99, I decided to get my self a newer, more reliable daily. I didn't have anything in mind until my mate (an Audi sales manager) offered me a fully specced Golf mk4 V5. In the end that all fell through, but it got me thinking and I ended up getting a 2000 (X) V6 4motion in reflex silver:

There are no photos of the 4mo from when I bought it, but it came with heated leather Recaros, cruise control, etc. Here's an early photo (although in this photo, the only car that was actually working was the mrs' black mk4 GTI you can just make out in the bottom left corner):
Exterior:
- R32 alloys
- Colour coded front / rear valances
- Polo rear wiper
- Stubby roof ariel
- GTI spoiler
I then got a new front grille and a set of stubby wing mirrors:
Some brushed alloy trim was fitted along with an R Line 4motion gear knob, so I got myself the VW MFD double DIN sat nav system:
