"Lemforder" bushes
« on: 29 June 2010, 19:32 »
Before i get shouted at... i have searched but nothing said about these specific bushes......

I am about to buy some VRS bushes from vwspares, but there are some Lemforder ones on there that are for sports suspension but they say they replace the same part number as i have found in the search... will they be a better buy for me having coilovers as they are only £2 more than the original!!??
Linky.....

2681401 is the part number for skoda VRs bushes which are considered an upgrade for the golf, but if you think about it, its not really an upgrade, its just bringing the golf up to an acceptable standard!  :smug:

I will probably use their wishbones/bushes for mine, I hear BMW boys swear by Lemforder stuff as it goes, even though I'd not heard of them before looking on ECP but seem a safe bet :)

I'm now running VRS bushes and they are a big difference, the back seems tighter and more solid, the jelly feeling has been reduced, now for suspension set up :)

Lemfoerder is a very reputable brand, i have used them in the past on my personal cars as well as installed on several vehicles. You can't go wrong with them.
