Fitting to AGU is easy, after Wazzzer explained it.. :afro: When you got it ill post pics of the 3 connections if you want.

saikou michi FTMFW !!

Not sure what that bit means, but saiko michi is easiest as has 19mm ports, also is the most expensive

Remember with any of the ebay ones, you will also need 2x silicone reducers and 2x joiners @9mm or 15mm , and will also need corresponding T peice and elbow..

Toyosports one 9mm or 15mm, you choose for both?

Has level pipe on side of it, but heard good things about toyosports, think they do FMIC's too?

Toyosports CC (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/New-Round-Oil-Catch-Tank-9-15-mm-Fittings-Blue_W0QQitemZ190399016261QQcategoryZ72205QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DDLSL%252BSIC%26its%3DI%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D8%26pmod%3D350369329147%252B350369329147%26po%3D%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D6301830941400128077)

Also pretty sure you could remove the level bit and block the holes up if your that worried, or if it breaks..

Use the search button, this has been posted about loads of times. I used an Ebay one with 15mm ports as did many others and none of us encountered any issues, it just depends if you want to pay more and have a namebrand catch can fitted....

if you contact the seller they will add other bits (such as a 19mm bend) for a few pounds more without a problem.

mine turned up this mornin and i've tried it on the can inlet/outlet - it is very loose so will need reducing.

have done it by slipping rubber pipe onto the inlet then the 19mm hose onto this making a tight fit.

Am i right in thinking that these pipes are not under pressure????   :undecided:

Ill get you some pics Ian.

Hardest thing to do is get your oil resistant hose to bend in the right places to mount it..

It aint that flexible mate
Title: Re: Catch can
Post by: Wazzzer on 12 January 2011, 20:28
well ours isn't cos the walls are so bloody thick!
Title: Re: Catch can
Post by: tech1889 on 12 January 2011, 20:36
my 19mm hose was terrible for bends.. luckily when fitting a catch can unless your hiding the pipes for an average Joe fit there is no major bends.. the thread on ukmkiv's i followed was for an aum but from reading what he posted all the engine are slightly different even aum to aum... once you start ripping it all out its easy peezy to know what can be got rid of and where to route pipes.. I'd never fitted one before and sussed it out easily...

Post by: Dave_IOW on 12 January 2011, 20:39
Yeah neither had i, but you dont have a FMIC pipe right by one of the outlets

Also the one coming up that gets 'T'ed' into that one was a 'mare

use a 90 degree elbow ??
Title: Re: Catch can
Post by: Dave_IOW on 12 January 2011, 20:46
use a 90 degree elbow ??

Not enough room, the outlet that the hose goes on could touch the charge pipe if hose wasnt pushing it the other way, no room for outlet - hose - elbow before you get to pipe..

Post by: tech1889 on 12 January 2011, 20:47
what about heating up the pipe in boiling water ??
