I'm not much of one for cleaning cars but gave it a go at the weekend.

Got to say the Wo-Wo stuff is top class.

Will be ordering a batch of stuff for racing next year.

Well my GTI has been far too neglected recently! 2000 miles roughly in the last month, and not a free day with the weather to suit resulted in it looking very sorry for itself indeed!

So with a morning off work I set about making matters right again. Protection from FK1000p is holding up well, and a well protected car is so much easier to clean! It really wasn't long at all before the car was looking more like itself, though probably not for long!

And now for some poorly executed 50:50/compilation shots to show full scale of the transformation!

Great transformation! I think there's a lot of satisfaction at this time of year in getting rid of the grime and seeing it nice and clean and shiny again, even if it is short-lived.

Great job seabrook  One thing about them getting that minging is you really get to appreciate the difference once cleaned. Very pleased with FK1000p too, it seems to have some real stamina!

Stunning transformation Dan. Love to see this kind of thing, and fantastic to see your lovely mk6 gracing the detailing section, don't see enough of it.  Love the side by side before and after pics.  Beautiful job, and result.

Yes, sorry boring familiar photos I know, but I didn't have time to whisk it off to a post wash exotic location for a photoshoot.
