300 views and I haven't even posted owt...

Still, now that problem has been fixed (thanking yous)

So back in Feb I got hold of a wagon after much tooing and froing with a certain Chuff, involving many trips in to London, Northamptonshire, Oxfordshire and the like, and seeing what can only be described as nails, dispite promises of minters from many traders, I (we) came across this one just down the road from the large mans house. How ironic.

It's a PD130 Highline, picked up with 96k on the clock (now approaching 100k) and had no history of a cambelt change. So first thing was first, it was put through a major service including all fluids, filters, belts and related gubbins.

Oh and when I brought it, it had next to naff all tread on 3 tyres and a 120mile drive to Vaughns before I could get a decent set on her. Made roundabouts interesting considering it was drizzling most of the journey up there. Still she never and still hasn't missed a beat so good times.

She has a detachable swan neck tow bar on as well, detachable in the sense that it fell off on the way to the tyre shop (thank fook it didn't do it on the motorway on the way) and now resides in the corner of my garage. Nice bit of angle steel tucked away should anyone decide to rear end me.

Now for the pictures.

when I first got her:

Since last weekend was nice and sunny, I decided to give her a nice valet and semi detail so spent nearly 5 hours going over the paint.

She now looks like this:

Pretty good condition drivers bolsters

Dusty engine bay

Not so dusty

Now for the common denomintator in the previous two cars I've owned...

Roof scratches:

However, away from these, after a wash, clay, good polish and wax, here are some reflection shots, roof and then door:

So then... plans...

I have a set of wheels in the garage that are being made ready to be stripped down, and refurbed.

final outcome is yet to be 100% confirmed.

Coilovers - when I finally get a price list together, as I think I'm going to change everything suspension wise, whilst it is off, so new rods, bushes etc.

Tints on the windows - hush with your silly blinds

Remap - Hello mr insurance man

Audio - Double Din ipod ready conversion, and some slightly better comps perhaps, although tbh the speakers in there are pretty damn amazing.

Debadge - not entirely sure how much or where at the moment....

HID's - Conversion kit is high up on the list

Complete light change to ice white LED, numberplate lights, sidelights, full beams, retro fit fogs and possibly HID those as well.

Plus... a few other things up my sleeve.
