Still on the look out for a donor car. A cheap one anyway that has a good running engine. Viewed a couple and my god the engines sounded like swinging a bag of hammers about. The search continues!

Do you still need a donor car?  I have a 1.8T, AGU engine with only 63k on it.  The engine is absolutely solid as a rock, but the suspension and bodywork isn't great.  The AGU if you pop a better turbo on is the best combination, no coil pack issues.  Engine has been serviced every year my myself since I owned it, new oil, filters etc.  Bought it on 24k and have got it up to 63k in the 6 years of ownership.

Just to give you an idea, it just passed it's MOT, so has 13 months on it, lots of advisories, but not a single one for the engine etc.

With the car you'd also be getting a forge TIP, uprated engine mounts, pipercross filter, 007p divertor valve, and 312mm front brakes.  Best bit, it also has R32 dials inside, coded to the car

It sounds to me like it'd be ideal for what you need!  Would you be interested?
