Hi

The electric passenger window on my 93 VR6 keeps winding itself down on it's own accord & it's difficult to get back up again !!

Has anyone had experience with such a problem ?

I have hear of this, what you need to do is hold the button down for five seconds when the window is up, this is ment to reset it.

hi, it  seems that mk3 golf electric windows are prone to problems. My driver side window has a one click function to send the window to close.  However it goes all the way up and then comes back down again. To be honest its pissing me off.

On my vr6 there is a safety function that stops the window if there is some thing in its path. For example hand arm etc. If the battery is disconnected this function needs to be reset. On the vr6 all doors and windows can be locked/shut with master key. Keep the key in the lock position for 10 seconds and it should reset the windows. However this did not solve my problem. Im not sure but I thinK its possible to reset the windows via the Engine management off course youre need the TOOLS

It might be the rubber on your window that is causing to much resistance, you can buy stuff that will soffen it
