She has owned the car for some 6 years now but it has been off the road for and in our garage for about 4 years now being slowly "restored" if you will. The only restoration we have managed to do is the interior and lights. Since these pics were taken we have ditched the original twin headlight and grill in favour of a single cross hair headlights and a debadged grill. We also swapped the rear lights for some rather tasty smoked ones to go with the paint. For those that are interested, she bought the car with the paint. Apparently it is TVR flip purple with some gold thrown in. It looks quite nice but for some reason it looks especially good when it's cloudy....go figure.

As you can see in the pics, the brown seats and burgundy carpets don't really work with paint. We gutted the interior completely of everything but the dash. We replaced the door cards with some rather nice made to measure black leather items and also fitted new carpet. The seats were ditched and replaced with some rather comfortable black bucket seats and the rear seats were ditched to accommodate the harnesses. Unfortunately when we got to this point some 2 years ago the legend of the rent became way hardcore and work on the golf kinda got sidelined.......until now!!!!!

1st up......the brakes.
