Think 2 x 76mm is GTI? Not sure whoch though as Mk7.5 has noticeably bigger tips than the Mk7.

I don’t think they’re standard factory fit on any specific model. I think they're an accessory item intended to fit more than one model (part number 5G0071911041). The chrome factory fit tailpipe trims don’t have the attachment screws you can see in the picture; the screws suggest they’re a universal application for cars with different size OEM exhaust tailpipes.

Found some on amazon.com and the (USA) model application was given as Beetle 2012-2014, mk7 Golf and mk6 Jetta.
2020 Polo GTI Plus; Pure White, DSG (because they all are)
Gone but not forgotten;
2016 Polo GTI; Blue Silk
2011 mk6 Golf GTD; Carbon Grey
2007 mk5 Golf GT (2.0 170bhp TDI version); Deep Black Pearl
2002  mk4 Golf GTI (the 150 bhp diesel version); Deep Black Pearl

I know (hope) this was tongue in cheek, but the tailpipes (and inside surface of the pipes) on my 2016 GTD are as clean today as they were the day I picked them up, whereas my wife's Polo Blue GT chromed exhaust tips seem to suffer for a little black carbon build up if left for a few weeks ( i do think the VW TSI engines run a little sooty ?). Must be something to do with modern diesels running DPF filters.  :laugh: :laugh:

I've noticed quite a bit of black soot appears on my GTI after 2 weeks of running around. Do like the chrome though and easy enough to keep clean.

There was never any soot on the tail pipes of my Mk6 GTD.

The tail pipes on my new GTI always need a good wipe to remove the soot.

The tail pipes on my brother's Mk6 GTI are black with soot.
