Hi all. I'm normally an air cooled nut with years of experience doing nut and bolt resto's on beetles, Bay windows and split screens...... I have decided to hang up my Mig welding torch and jump straight into the GTI fraternity! This will be my second GTI, having restored and driven a tornado red MK3 years ago. I currently have a mk1 clipper cab with 61K on the clock in very good nick, not a GTI but still a 1.8i and nippy to drive. I ordered the GTI performance in Deep black peal metallic with Vienna leather with brascia alloys......God knows when it will turn up though! I normally join a marque specific form when I get involved with it....... So here I am!!
