Engine is for sale I have a video of it running it's a bit lumpy on idle as I don't have a timing light, another messy mk2 engine bay

There is a forsale section down the page somewhere. On the running rough on idle they all do a little bit. Normally an airleak

So I made a start to stripping more out the interior and removing the wiring loom  I don't know who wired up the golf before me but the wiring is a mess with bridge wired here there and everywhere. A lot still do before I can get her welded up and sprayed but it's always a bit less [/img][/img]

So today has been a mixture of good and bad il start with the good  so I got the engine and gearbox out the golf all went smoothly apart from one of the rear engine mount bolts snapping which ended up in the mount being removed from the back of the engine instead
After getting the engine out I decided to start removing some of the easy stuff such as horn, wings and some of the wiring everything has been marked up so far to help when it comes to merging the two wiring looms a job I am not looking forward to
