Can I go LED?

Hi,

I have recently gone back for a gti after trading in my R32 and on that I had to replace the high level brake light which was an LED one, does anybody no if I can fit the R32 one to my GTI or is it a different fitment? As the LED one looks so much better

The R32 and GTI back lights are completely different.
