Golf MK5 replica GTI bodykit help
« on: 08 October 2014, 07:21 »

Hi everyone,

Was looking for a new car for he mrs and went t see a golf 2004 MK5 that was a GTI replica,
It was beautiful!

Thing is after some research I see that I could do it cheaper with a MK5 and a GTI conversion bodkit,

So my questions are

- Which model MK5 would be best?
Since noticing this I've been looking at golfs and there are a few different models about and am unsure what would look best as some have different rear lights and some wheel arches are wider than other.

- have our done this yourself?
If so can I see some before and after pictures? I'm really interested in where you purchased your body kit and what kind of quality it was, did you include side skirts?

Thank you for your time guys and girls

Why take the pain if the car was a reasonable price, by the time you buy the kit and get a good bodyshop to fit/spray it...cost! If it was a MK5 the earlier ones i think went through some face lifts at the front bumper. There are the kits on ebay to give it the GTI look.
Audi S1 gone, awaiting 1.5tsi r-line, pan roof, led lights front and rear, active dash, 18" jurva alloys and a dealer fitted Oettinger roof spoiler in tornado red.
