Yikes that crack looks:

1) serious
2) expensive

Definitely get it looked at because if it lets go it will be even more of a problem!

Thanks Boothy.

It does look like cracking you’re right but it was actually just dirt that was in the shape of a crack. It all wiped off after. It’s in for a service on a couple of weeks. I’ll get them to take a look.

No power loss. No warning lights.

This looks like oil vapour leak, which would actually make sense since right there is the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) pipe (where the arrow points ) which is also looking covered in the same stuff.

Normally this is routed back to the inlet (after most of the oil is removed) because it has nowhere else to go, so it's not something as crucial as a boost leak, but definitely have it looked at, if anything for the mess it will make over time.

Thanks mate. Would a replacement PCV Hose fix this then? Heard the OEM ones are brittle.

If that was found to be the problem indeed, then clearly. Just make sure it comes from there and not from somewhere from the rest of PCV piping in that area like the turbo inlet pipe, which I find unlikely unless you were running an aftermarket one with different seals (o-rings). Some of them are not as good as the OEM in terms of sealing and they leak similar stuff as to what you have on your turbo.
