I have a local garage that does bodywork that I've used a few times now Never bothered VW but I own my car so I do what suits me.

Needed some minor repairs after an accident and that was my insurers choice.  Tried using VW esurance but that was useless.  Basically recommended the same place.

Work is fine but I think they overlooked the repairs to fleece the insurance company.
