The warmer weather helped, when I tried in December it was nigh on impossible. I just picked the worst of it off with my nails then a good soaking in panel wipe or tardis with again nails and a microfibre cloth. Wasn't too bad and I'm not known for my patience :laugh:

They did come up pretty well but will need a decontamination when I seal them before the winter. The diamond cut finish is holding up much better than I feared inspite of a good selection of kerbing marks :rolleyes: They are showing their age a bit now but don't need a refurb just yet, perhaps next year. Or a good polish with my yet to arrive DA (I'm sure I'd ordered one :wink:) might smarten them up for another year or two :whistle:

^^I like the way you just say "A wash", in such a mundane, matter of fact way. If I'd achieved that level of a result I'd be shouting about it and how brilliant I was! :laugh:

Ha, yep looks like she just went over it with a sponge and some fairly liquid!

Fantastic wash though!

I'm car less this weekend so was busy doing other peoples...

My mum's new Yaris - 1 week old so full decontamination, polish and sealant.



Then a couple of maintenance washes....

Cheers Watts, yeah the 911 is a stunner.

Nice little car the Yaris, my mum just changed her 08 plate that she’d had from new so watch this space for a spot of detailing on that before it goes on Autotrader  :smiley:

Having washed the car a couple of weeks ago its been sat in the garage due to much outside gardening type work being done  :undecided: ....anyway all work and no play  :tongue:....quick detail spray before taking out up North Yorks Moors way
