Is it the last section of numbers? That big white sticker has chassis/engine code details first doesnt it????

Exactly what my son-in-law told me last night! (BillyVW) He also told me that there should be a sticker in your Service Book with the same info on it!

79Ronnie,

Your code sounds like my MK3 GTI and is probably Navy Blue? Anyway, I've got a tin that is the exact match - try LE Went, I think they're Surbiton way. Quote them the part number/code and they'll make an exact match, should cost you about £12.

Does anyone know how to rejuvinate really, really bad faded paintwork? My golf's got a really faded bonnet and roof - I've tried T cut and Colour Majic, it looks cool for a few weeks then goes white again!

Failing that a respray I guess!

Royal Blue Mettalic i was told.
Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music.
