Looms to retrofit puddle lights to the rear doors turned up the other day :)

Just need some dry weather and time to fit them now.......

New tyres arrived yesterday so they will be fitted on Monday and the car will also have 4 wheel alignment carried out

Weather has been crap so looms are still in the packet

Had the tyres fitted today but they couldn't do the alignment. The rear camber is slightly out but Audi in their infinite wisdom fitted the camber sdjustment right next to the strut and the only way to get to it is to remove the wheel   so its rebooked for next Monday

Its a quick car and also a flying machine

Very nice mate :afro:

Ta Wes

massive upgrade (literally!) from the A3 but more so in terms of build quality, refinement and the way it gets down the road. The A6 actually has FEEDBACK through the steering     The A3 always felt very light at the helm whereas the A6 is quite weighty. Its no Porsche but coming from the A3 its nice to know exactly what the front end is doing

Puddle and door warning lights fitted to the rear door cards :)

Bit of a mission as I couldn't find any how-to's on removing the door cards so I created my own! Also because I got the little LED's in the interior door handle I had to splice into the earth wire needed for the lights

Loom and lights

Area that needs to be 'modified'

Light installed

Will hopefully get some night time pics :)

I like this a lot.

As is the way with me I'm already considering replacements for the Yeti for when I'm done with it and a Superb 4x4 TDI Estate is high up the list. Pretty much the same car as these minus the 6 banger up front and the Audi tax.
