i bought one from vw last week dude :grin: gonna fit it this weekend, it was just over £30

fooking better do, my bollox are still like ice cubes now..... :laugh:

my heater matrix was/is blocked (brrrrrr) with rad weld i guess (yuk)

anyhow i flushed n flushed n back flushed n front flushed the bstard to no avail...

so a tiny 2inch G-clamp on the bypass tube did the trick !

worked well, taken it off now (fear of blowing the matrix)

still got warm air,  luurvely ... (beats de-icing the inside of the screen !!)

i just changed my valve for aone i cut out of another car at the loacl breakers and its working a treat  first time ive had warm air since ive had the car but now the little red temp light flashes sometimes any ideas?  im sure it must be related.  does it flash a certain amount of times to tell me why its flashing etc etc?  i would start a new thread but i reckon it could be a related problem worth mentioning

This light is probably just your level warning one. Check your water level in your header tank.
