He bought me an air blaster sidekick. Tried I out on various guests (more to my amusement than theirs!).

Roll on some nice weather.

Darn, I`m going to have to have one of these now

You won’t regret it 👍 it was a god send on my sensitive Lapiz Blue paintwork when I hadn’t got the time to dry it manually. Also they are fantastic as others have said at blasting away the annoying dribbles from door mirrors, lights, bumpers etc 😁

I`ve ordered one
👍

My old Sidekick still going strong then?

I've never heard of the "Sidekick" until I saw them mentioned here in the last few days? A worthwhile tool to get one's hands on I take it ?

Metrovac Sidekick is a very worthwhile investment, for all the lovely (not) golf water traps and great for drying wheels. Not quite up to doing the whole car but very good piece of kit to have.  I had one and only sold it (to JB GTI) as I traded up to a Metrovac Vac n Blo machine which is a vacuum and blower (more powerful than the Sidekick).

Water filter is the best detailing purchase I’ve ever made.  Definitely something to give serious thought to if you have hard water and a colour that shows up water spots.   Sounds like you’ve got some great kit all ready to be used for the new GTI.   Good luck with the Cole Goin, hope all goes well. Look forward to seeing pics of the new car.

So how did your car fare with Santa this year then? The fat old fella in red ignored my car this year (again) but as a treat we are holidaying in lovely West Yorkshire so an enjoyable drive up from London was had and tomorrow a drive to Norfolk to look forward to.
