1.6 8v help

I have a 1.6 8v AFT engine code, I'm looking for an uprated manifold just to make the air flow bit better, are all 1.6/1.8 and 2.0 8v manifolds the same?

looking for one if anyone has one or a link maybe.

looking at the 1.8 and 2.0 8v 4-2-1 stainless manifolds on ebay.

The 1.8 and 2 litre are the same. On the mk2 golfs the 1.6 is also the same or can be fitted.
So id assume from that a 4 branch will fit.
Surely second hand would be better.

Im also sure that the standard manifold flow quite well. Or the gti ones do

you will struggle to notice any increase in performance with that mod on it's own,iit might help improve things as part of a much bigger set up but on it's own it would not be worth the bother.

Good ones that fit are not cheap,many of the cheaper ones were made for left hand drive and can be a real pain to fit to uk models.

as above,standard manifold flows freely enough.
